Gene & Virginia Else

*  Gene-Superintendent of Clatonia for 11 years, Sub teacher at Wilber-Clatonia

*  Virginia-Graduate from Clatonia in 1942, Principal in Clatonia, Taught high school and elementary vocal music

*  The Else's earned respect from and instilled leadership and sportsmanship in all students they touched.

 

Terry Schrick

*  Secondary Agricultural Education Instructor and FFA Advisor for Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools from 1961-1968

*  Advised students in FFA at local, state and national conventions

*  Active in Nebraska Por Producers and Nebraska Lamb Program

*  Judged and promoted participation by students at county and state fairs

 

Duane (DJ) Jorgensen

*  Wilber Clatonia Schools Educator from 1966-1976

*  Taught music education and was band instructor

*  Instrumental in the foundation of Wilber Clatonia Czech Alumni Band

*  Alumni Band Director since the band's first performance in August of 1986

 

Bernard Klasek

*  Wilber High School Class of 1923

*  Superintendent of Wilber Schools for 26 years (1938 to 1964)

*  Saline County Superintendent for 14 years

*  Showed each and every student they counted by insisting that a wide variety of classes were offered for students' insterests

*  Strive to re-energize returning WW II veterans into society and the work force.

Helen Oltrogge

*  Hired by Wilber Public Schools in 1969 and received her BA from UNL in 1970

*  Taught elementary students for 38 years in the Wilber and Wilber-Clatonia School District

*  Taught 20 years prior in other schools in nearby communities for a total of 58 years as an educator

 

George Hynek

*  Graduated form Wilber High School, Class of 1946

*  Bus driver transporting students for the Wilber and Wilber-Clatonia School Districts for 46 years, including 3 years with First Student

*  Accident Free for all those years

*  Drove routes, numerous activities and field trips for the District

*  George served two years in the military, 1951-1953

*  Involved in the community with American Legion and Czech Days

 

James (Jim) Rector

*  Twenty years of dedicated service teaching 7-12 Mathematics

*  Taught Advanced Placement courses for college credit

*  Assistant Wrestling Coach and Junior Class/Prom Sponsor
